The primary focus of this role will be Accounts Payable, while also providing support in Accounts Receivable, billing, and various accounting projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who can work independently, learn new systems quickly, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)
- Process approximately 30-40 invoices per week.
- Perform 3-way matching for product invoices and obtain necessary approvals.
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding.
- Assist with AP reconciliations and vendor inquiries.
Additional Responsibilities
- Process cash applications.
- Support Accounts Receivable activities.
- Provide backup support for billing functions.
- Generate and maintain accrual listings.
- Assist with commission calculations as needed.
- Support month-end activities and ad hoc accounting projects.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and balance workloads.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with strong Accounts Payable experience.
- Understanding of accounting principles, General Ledger concepts, and Chart of Accounts structures.
- Intermediate Excel skills, including:
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- SUMIFS
- Data analysis and reporting functions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to think independently, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong systems aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
